Twenty-eight years in Vancouver's hospitality industry, I enjoyed working from the back of the house, to the front in such places as the Cannery, Gerard , Fish House, Bishop's, Diva at the Met, West, Cafe Medici, and Wild Rice to name a few! At the relatively late age of 30, I decided to follow my childhood dream of playing Professional basketball. After realizing that the NBA wasn't possible, I quit my lifestyle, and packed up to leave for Europe. After 7 seasons overseas, 4 seasons of which in the top league in England, and 3 seasons in Austria's top league I retired from Professional basketball, fullfilling a dream!
